Remove the two packings (7) from the flow divider and dump valve (1). 1) Discard the two packings (7).
(l)
Remove the elbow (4), nut (5), ring (6) and packing (2) from the flow divider and dump valve (1). 1) Discard the ring (6) and packing (2).
(m)
Make sure you install all necessary protection covers.
(n)
Remove the container.

CAUTION: REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY.
_______ IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS, DAMAGE TO THE APU CAN OCCUR.
(1)
Do these steps to install the flow divider and dump valve (1):
(a)
Lubricate the new packing (2) with a light coat of fuel.
(b)
Install the nut (5) and a new ring (6) on the elbow (4).
(c)
Install the packing (2) and then the elbow (4) (with the nut (5) and ring (6)) on the flow divider and dump valve (1).
(d)
Tighten the nut (5) with your fingers.
(e)
Lubricate the two new packings (7) with a light coat of fuel.
(f)
Install the two packings (7) on the flow divider and dump valve (1).
(g)
Put the flow divider and dump valve (1) on the fuel nozzle adapter. 1) Make sure the elbow (4) on the flow divider and dump
valve (1) points to the front of the APU.
(h)
Install the flow divider and dump valve (1) and bracket with its attaching parts on the fuel nozzle adapter with the washer (13) and four bolts (11), (12).
NOTE: You install the bracket with its attaching parts on the
____ left aft hole of the flow divider and dump valve (1).
1) Tighten the four bolts (11), (12) to 36-40 inch-pounds (4.1-4.5 newton-meters).
