compartment bulkhead.
(d)
Remove the two quick-release pins, disconnect the two hold-open rods and put the two hold-open rods in the two clips on the left access door.
(e)
Install the two quick-release pins in the two brackets on the left APU compartment bulkhead.
(f)
Make sure the insulation covers are correctly attach to the APU compartment firewall.
(g)
Lift the left access door until the two APU access doors are approximately aligned.
(h)
Close the two APU access doors.
(i)
Close the six latches on the right access door.

If it is necessary, do the procedure to remove the air-cooled oil cooler from the APU (AMM 49-91-01/401).

Put protection caps on the two oil ports.

WARNING:_______USE SAFETY GOGGLES WHEN YOU USE THE COMPRESSED AIR. IF YOU DO NOT USE SAFETY GOGGLES, AN EYE INJURY CAN OCCUR.

Use compressed air at 80 to 100 psig to remove loose contamination from the air ducts of the air-cooled oil cooler.

(4)
Use a spray wash machine with solvent and spray wash the air-cooled oil cooler in a 5 to 30 minute wash cycle.

Flush the air-cooled oil cooler fully with hot water at 90° to 200° F (32° to 93° C).

Use dry, compressed air at 80 to 100 psig to dry the air ducts of the air-cooled oil cooler.
