CAUTION: REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY.
_______ IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS, DAMAGE TO THE APU CAN OCCUR.
(1)
Do these steps to install the APU current transformer (2):
(a)
Install the APU current transformer (2) on the bracket with the three screws (10) and three nuts (11).
(b)
Put the generator cable in the APU current transformer (2).
(c)
Install the two clamps (8) on the generator cable with the two screws (6), two washers (7) and two nuts (9).
(d)
Install the cover (3) and lanyard with the two washers (5) and two screws (4).
(e)
Do the electrical bonding test between the APU current transformer (2) and the airplane structure (AMM 20-22-01/601). 1) The maximum bonding resistance between the APU current
transformer (2) and airplane structure is 0.0025 ohm.
(f)
Connect the electrical connector (1) to the APU current transformer (2).
E.
Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
(1)
Close the access station 2160 bulkhead door, 146AZ.
(2)
Close the bulk cargo compartment door, 823R.

APU EICAS INDICATING SYSTEM - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General_______
A. The EICAS memo message APU RUNNING (white) will show on the main EICAS display when the APU N1 speed is 95% or more than 95%. Other APU indications can be displayed by selecting either the EICAS status page or maintenance page.
