Loosen the coupling nut on the ignition cable (1) until you can disconnect the ignition cable from the igniter plug (5).
(e)
Open the three or four one-piece quick-release clamps (4) and two two-piece quick-release clamps (6) that attach the ignition cable (1) to the APU.
NOTE: There are four one-piece quick-release clamps (4) that
____ attach the ignition cable (1) to the igniter plug (5) at the 5 o'clock position. There are three one-piece quick-release clamps (4) that attach the ignition cable (1) to the igniter plug (5) at the 7 o'clock position.
(f)
Remove the ignition cable (1).
(g)
Make sure you install all necessary protection covers.

CAUTION: REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY.

CAUTION:_______ DO NOT LET THE LUBRICANT TOUCH THE CONDUCTORS IN THE
IGNITION CABLE. A HIGH RESISTANCE BETWEEN THE IGNITER
PLUG AND IGNITION EXCITER WILL RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE
IGNITION CABLE.
(a)
Lightly apply the spray lubricant to the seal seat area at the ends of the ignition cable (1).
(b)
Connect but do not tighten the ignition cable (1) to the ignition exciter (2).
(c)
Connect but do not tighten the ignition cable (1) to the igniter plug (5).
CAUTION: DO NOT LET THE BRAID OR FERRULE OF THE IGNITION CABLE MOVE
_______ WHEN YOU TIGHTEN THE TWO COUPLING NUTS. DAMAGE TO THE IGNITION CABLE CAN OCCUR.
(d)
Tighten the two coupling nuts on the ignition cable (1) with your fingers plus 1/8 of a turn.
(e)
Put the ignition cable (1) in the three or four one-piece quick-release clamps (4) and two two-piece quick-release clamps (6) and close the clamps with the lockscrews.
NOTE: There are four one-piece quick-release clamps (4) that
____ attach the ignition cable (1) to the igniter plug (5) at the 5 o'clock position. There are three one-piece quick-release clamps (4) that attach the ignition cable (1) to the igniter plug (5) at the 7 o'clock position.
