(1)
Install the nipples on the IGV actuator (5):
(a)
Remove the plugs from the fuel ports and the drain outlet on the IGV actuator (5) housing.
(b)
Install the new packings (4), lubricated with engine fuel, on the nipples (3).
(c)
Install the nipples (3) on the IGV actuator (5).
1) Tighten the nipples (3) to 65-75 pound-inches (7.3-8.5 N.m).
(d)
Install the new packing (11), lubricated with engine fuel, on the nipple (9).

(e) Install the nipple (9) on the IGV actuator (5).
1) Tighten the nipple (9) to 110-120 pound-inches (12.4-13.5 N.m).

Install the IGV actuator (5):
(a)
Install the IGV actuator (5) on the compressor case with the washers (6) and the nuts (8). 1) Tighten the nuts (8) to 32-36 pound-inches (3.6-4.1 N.m).
(b)
Connect the flexible drain line (10) to the IGV actuator (5).
1) Tighten the drain line (10) to 270-300 pound-inches (31-34 N.m).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE BOLT HEAD IS ON THE FORWARD SIDE OF THE
_______ ACTUATOR LINK WHEN YOU INSTALL THE BOLT. THIS WILL PREVENT INTERFERENCE OF THE BOLT HEAD WITH THE INLET PLENUM.
(c)
Connect the actuator rod (12) to the connector rod (15) with the bolt (16), the washers (17), and the nut (18). 1) Tighten the nut (18) to 65-85 pound-inches
(7.4-9.6 newton-meters).
(d)
Remove the caps from the fuel supply line (2) and the return line (1).
(e)
Connect the fuel supply line (2) and the return line (1) to the IGV actuator (5). 1) Tighten the lines (1 and 2) to 90-100 pound-inches
(10.2-11.3 N.m). 2) Tighten the lines (1 and 2) at the tee connectors to 90-100 pound-inches (10.2-11.3 N.m).
(f)
Remove the caps from the P17 electrical connector (7) and the receptacle.
(g)
Connect the P17 electrical connector (7) to the IGV actuator (5). 1) Tighten the connector (7) with your hand.
NOTE: The connector is fully tight when you cannot see

the red color band.
