Open the APU access doors:
(a)
Open the latches on the APU access doors.
(b)
Open the APU access doors.
(c)
Engage the support rods for the APU access doors.

CAUTION:_______DO NOT HIT THE INLET PLENUM WITH YOUR HANDS OR TOOLS. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE INLET PLENUM. IF YOU CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE INLET PLENUM, IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO REPLACE IT.
(4)
Remove the T1/T6 sensor:
(a)
Disconnect the P10 connector (1) from the T1/T6 sensor (2).
(b)
Install dust caps on the electrical connector (1).
(c)
Remove the bolt (5A), the washer (6A), and the nut (7A) that attach the end of the negative thermocouple wire (8) to the negative bus bar (9).
(d)
Remove the bolt (5), the washer (6), and the nut (7) that attach the end of the positive thermocouple wire (10) to the positive bus bar (11).
(e)
Remove the bolts (12), washers (13), spacers (16), and nuts (14) that attach the cable clamps (15) to the mounting brackets.

Remove the cable clamps (15) from the cables.
(g)
Remove the bolts (3) that attach the T1/T6 sensor (2) to the inlet plenum.
(h)
Remove the T1/T6 sensor (2).
(i)
Remove the gasket (4) from the inlet plenum.
(j)
Discard the gasket (4).
