Preconditions
 S 865-109
 (1)  
These condtions are necessary for this task:

 (a)  
Fuel Jettison System serviceable (wiring, relays etc.).

 (b)  
Fuel Jettison/Override Pumps are serviceable
 (AMM 28-31-00/501).


 (c)  
A specific fuel quantity is not necessary for this task.

 (d)  
Electrical Power is On (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (e)
Airplane must be in ground mode (AMM 32-09-02/201).Prepare for the Test

 (1)  
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 S 865-110

 (2)  
Make sure the airplane is in ground mode (AMM 32-09-02/201).

 (3)  
Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags.

 (a)  
P180 DC Power Distribution Panel
 1) 180E2 FUEL OVRD/JTSN PMP CONT CTR L
 2) 180H18 FUEL OVRD/JTSN PMP CONT CTR R
 3) 180E3 FUEL OVRD/JTSN PUMP CONT FWD 2 & 3

P414 Power Distribution Center - Left
 1) 414C2 FUEL OVRD/JTSN PUMP FWD 2

 WARNING:_______DO THE PROCEDURE IN AMM 32-00-30/201 TO INSTALL THE LOCKS. THE DOORS MOVE QUICKLY AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT IF THE LOCKS ARE NOT CORRECTLY INSTALLED.
 (4)  
Make sure that the landing gear door locks are installed
 (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Test of the Center Tank Left Side Pump, M224, Ground Fault Detector, M473


 S 865-005
 (1)  Make sure that the L CTR pump switch on the fuel management module, M154, is set to the OFF position.
 NOTE: The module, M154, is found on the P5 pilots overhead panel.

 (2)  
Remove the connector, DM224, from the center tank left override/jettison pump, M224, in the wheel well of the left wing landing gear.

 (3)
Set the LOAD switch on test equipment G28013 to the OFF position.

 (4)  
Connect DM224 to test equipment G28013.

 S 865-009

 (5)
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

 (a)  
P180 DC Power Distribution Panel
 1) 180E2 FUEL OVRD/JTSN PMP CONT CTR L
