Purge and go into the fuel tank (AMM 28-11-00/201).

If you remove the override/jettison pump housing from the center wing tank, remove the spanwise beam access doors (AMM 28-11-09/401).
(a)
For the left override/jettison pump housing, remove the spanwise beam access doors 131AZ, 131BZ, 131CZ and 131DZ.
(b)
For the right override/jettison pump housing, remove the spanwise beam access doors 131AZ, 131BZ, 132AZ and 132BZ.

Disconnect the discharge line at the coupling.

Discard the O-rings.

Disconnect the pump inlet line at the coupling.

Discard the O-ring.

On the outside of the tank, do these steps:

Remove the sealant (if present) from the bonding jumper(s) where they attach to the mounting bolts.

Remove the lockwire from the mounting bolts.

AIRPLANES WITH LOCKWIRE PROVISIONS; Remove the lockwire from the mounting bolts.

Hold the override/jettison pump housing in the tank and do these steps:
(a)
From out of the fuel tank, remove the bolts and washers (8 locations) that attach the override/jettison pump housing to the spar.
