Make sure the airplane is in the ground mode (airplane not jacked and targets not installed).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE FUEL JETTISON NOZZLE VALVE SWITCHES ARE IN THE
_______ OFF POSITION. FAILURE TO SET THE FUEL JETTISON NOZZLE VALVE SWITCH IN THE OFF POSITION CAN CAUSE FUEL LEAKAGE.
(3) Make sure the FUEL JETTISON L NOZZLE and NOZZLE R switches on the fuel jettison module, on the P5 pilots' overhead panel, are closed (word ON not shown).

Set the GND TESTS switch on the overhead maintenance panel, P461, to the ENABLE position.

Prepare the CDU for the test:
(a)
Push the MENU key on the CDU to show the MENU.
(b)
Push the line select key (LSK) that is adjacent to <CMC to show the CMC MENU.
(c)
If <RETURN shows after you push the LSK, push the LSK that is adjacent to <RETURN until you see the CMC MENU.
(d)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to <GROUND TESTS to show the GROUND TESTS menu.
(e)
Push the NEXT PAGE key until you find <28 FUEL.
(f)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to <28 FUEL to show the GROUND TESTS menu for the fuel system.
(g)
Push the NEXT PAGE key until you find <JETT TRANSFER VLV.
NOTE: If INHIBITED shows above <JETT TRANSFER VLV, the test
____
will not operate.
(h) If INHIBITED shows above <JETT TRANSFER VLV: 1) Push the LSK that is adjacent to the test prompt. 2) Do the steps shown on the CDU. 3) Push the LSK that is adjacent to <RETURN to show the ground
test menu again.
