Procedure

(1)
Make sure the ground lockpin for the landing gear is installed before you remove the pressure switch for the pumps that follow:
(a)
The aft boost pumps of the inboard main tank
(b)
The override/jettison pumps
(c)
The APU boost pump

(2) Do the steps that follow if you remove the pressure switch from
-
the aft boost pumps for the inboard main tank
-
the override/jettison pumps
-
the APU boost pump.
WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO
_______ INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).
(b)
Do this Task: Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).

(3) If you remove the pressure switch for the forward boost pump on the inboard main tank, extend the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

CAUTION: PUT MAINTENANCE MATS ON THE WING LEADING EDGE WHERE MAINTENANCE
_______ WILL OCCUR. IF YOU DO NOT PUT THE MAINTENANCE MATS ON THE WING LEADING EDGES, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE LEADING EDGES.
(4)
If you remove the pressure switch for the forward boost pump of the inboard main tank, do this task: Extended Leading Edge Flap Deactivation and Safety Lock Installation (AMM 27-81-00/201).

If you remove the pressure switch for the boost pumps of the outboard main tank, remove the applicable access door, 573AT or 673AT.

Remove the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Put a fuel resistant container and rags at the pressure switch.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the pressure switch. Use the table that follows for the equipment numbers.
NOTE: If you remove the two aft boost pump pressure switches in
____ the main tank No. 1 or No. 4, put a tag on the electrical connector plug to show the switch position which agrees with the plug (LH, RH, FWD, AFT).
