(1)
If the external transformer bracket is attached to the fault current detector, do the steps that follow:
(a)
Remove the screw nearest to the front of the fault current detector which attaches the external transformer bracket to the fault current detector (View A).
(b)
Loosen the other screw to isolate the external transformer bracket from the fault current detector until you can put the wire in the external transformer.

Put the external transformer around the airplane wiring (View B).

Install the front screw that attaches the external transformer bracket to the fault current detector.
(4)
Tighten the two screws to 6 pound-inches.

Hold the fault current detector in its position on the mounting bracket (View A).

Install the screws (2 locations) that attach the fault current detector to the mounting bracket.
