Defuel the applicable inboard main tank (AMM 28-26-00/201).

(2) Purge and go into the fuel tank through the access opening 544AB or 644AB (AMM 28-11-00/201).

Disconnect the couplings on the jettison transfer line from the valve body.

Discard the packings.

Remove the bolts and washers (4 locations) that attach the valve body to the mounting bracket.

Move the valve body away from the mounting bracket, to disengage the splines of valve body and adapter shaft.

Remove the valve body from the tank.

Make sure the actuator is in the closed position.
(2)
Engage the valve body with the adapter shaft.
(3)
Make sure the index marks on the adapter shaft and valve body align.
