These conditions are necessary for this task:

Fuel Feed System is serviceable.

 (b)  
Fuel Jettison System serviceable.

 (c)  
A specific fuel quantity is necessary for this task (AMM 12-11-01/301, AMM 28-26-00/201).

 (d)  
Electrical Power On (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (e)  
Fuel System Card File serviceable (AMM 28-22-16/401).

 (f)  
Integrated Display System (IDS) serviceable (AMM 31-61-00/501).

 (g)  
Airplane must be in the ground mode (AMM 32-09-02/201).

 (h)  
CDU installed (AMM 34-61-02/401).

 (i)  
Central Maintenance Computer (CMC) serviceable (AMM 45-10-00/501).

Prepare for the Test

Supply the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (2)  S 865-211Make sure the airplane is in the ground mode (the airplane is not jacked and the targets are not installed).
 (3)  S 655-180Make sure the fuel tanks contain these fuel quantities: (a) The center wing tank and the No. 2 and 3 reserve tank can contain some quantity of fuel. (b) The No. 1 and 4 main tanks can contain some fuel, but are not completely full (to allow for fuel transfer between tanks). (c) The No. 2 and No. 3 main tanks each contain a minimum of 15,000 lbs (7000 kgs) of fuel (enough to operate the override/jettison pumps in the main tanks).
 (4)  S 655-181If the fuel quantity is not sufficient, refuel the tank(s) (AMM 12-11-01/301), or move fuel from a different tank (AMM 28-26-00/201) if it is necessary.
 (5)  S 865-183Make sure these switches on the fuel management control module, M154, (pilots' overhead panel, P5) are in the off position: (a) Boost pumps and override/jettison pumps (the white ON indication light in each switch does not show). (b) Make sure all the FUEL CONTROL switches on the control stand are set to the CUTOFF position.
 (6)  S 865-250Make sure these switches on the fuel jettison module, (P5 pilots' overhead panel) are in the OFF position. (a) FUEL JETTISON control selector switch.
 WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THE WHITE ON INDICATION LIGHT IN EACH JETTISON NOZZLE VALVE SWITCH DOES NOT SHOW. A WHITE ON INDICATION LIGHT SHOWS THAT THE NOZZLE VALVES ARE OPEN. IF THE FUEL JETTISON NOZZLE VALVES ARE OPEN, FUEL CAN FLOW FROM THE WING TIPS AT THE JETTISON NOZZLES. A FUEL LEAK CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (b)  FUEL JETTISON L-NOZZLE and NOZZLE-R switches (the white ON indication light in each switch does not show).

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

 (a)  
On the main power distribution panel, P6: 1) 6C18, JTSN NOZZLE VLV CONT R 2) 6D18, JTSN NOZZLE VLV CONT L
