 (7)  Install the spring pin to attach the upper float stop to the housing.

 CAUTION:_______DO NOT TIGHTEN THE HOUSING TOO MUCH. DAMAGE TO HOUSING COULD OCCUR IF YOU TIGHTEN THE HOUSING TOO MUCH.

Tighten the lower end of the housing in the mounting base, with a hex wrench, to 30-40 pound-inches.

For housing No. 17, 19, 20 or 24 install the clamp that holds the top end of the housing to the upper wing structure.

 For housing No. 24, install the spanwise beam access door, 131AZ (AMM 28-11-09/401).

 Go out of and close the fuel tank (AMM 28-11-00/201).
