 Install the locks on all the extended leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

 Have a person go out to the pressure refuel station (left wing) and do these steps:

 (a)  
Fully open the access door, 521CB, for the refuel control panel. 1) Let the door guide engage the detent.

 (b)  
Make sure the panel floodlights come on.

 (c)  
Make sure the fuel quantity indicators come on and give the correct fuel quantity.

 (d)  
Put the POWER switch on the refuel control panel in the NORM or BATT position.

 (13) Make sure the levers for the refuel receptacles (left and right wing) are in the CLOSED position.

Fuel Transfer Test - Jettison Transfer Valves - Valves Closed

Do this task: Fuel Jettison Transfer Valve - Ground Test
 (AMM 28-31-00/501).


 (a)  
If the ground test shows a FAIL indication, do the corrective action for any CMCS messages that show during the test.

Have a person go out to the refuel control panel, P42.

 (a)  
Put this switch on the P42 panel to the OPEN position: 1) MAIN 1 refuel valve switch.

Do these steps to make sure the four jettison transfer valves are in the closed position:

 (a)  
Put these override/jettison pump switches on the fuel manangement control module, M154 (pilots' overhead panel, P5) to the ON position: 1) OVRD 2 FWD 2) OVRD 2 AFT 3) OVRD 3 FWD 4) OVRD 3 AFT

 (b)  
Look at the fuel synoptic. 1) Wait for two minute. 2) Make sure the fuel quantity in the No. 1 main tank does not


 increase.
 3)  If the fuel quantity in the No. 1 main tank does not increase, all of the jettison transfer valves are in the closed position.
 (c)  Put these override/jettison pump switches on the fuel manangement control module, M154, to the off position: 1) OVRD 2 FWD
