 Do these steps to test the operation of the FUEL JETTISON control selector switch in the A position.

 (a)  
Put the FUEL JETTISON control selector switch on the fuel jettison module, (P5 pilots' overhead panel) to the A position.

 (b)  
Monitor the fuel synoptic. 1) Make sure the white jettison schematic segments show.

 (c)  
Make sure TEMP on the top EICAS display is replaced with TO REMAIN.

 (d)  
Turn the FUEL JETTISON FUEL TO REMAIN knob on the fuel jettison module (P5 pilots' overhead panel).

 (e)  
Make sure FUEL TO REMAIN value on the top EICAS display changes.

 (f)  
Put the FUEL JETTISON selector switch to the OFF position.
