ACCESSORY GEARBOX (AGB) EXCESS OIL CHECK
1.EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS
A. CONTAINER - 2 U.S. GALLON (8 LITER) CAPACITY SUITABLE FOR ENGINE OIL
B. TOOL - SEAL FITTING, 856A3330 G01 (TOOL SET), CFM INTERNATIONAL, P.O. BOX 15514, CINCINNATI, OH 45215
2. CHECK AGB FOR EXCESS OIL
A. OPEN LEFT FAN COWL PANEL (71-11-02 MP).
B. PLACE CONTAINER UNDER AGB DRAIN PLUG.
C. REMOVE AGB DRAIN PLUG AND ALLOW OIL TO DRAIN. DISCARD O-RING.
D. MEASURE QUANTITY OF OIL DRAINED FROM AGB. OIL QUANTITY DRAINED SHOULD NOT EXCEED ONE QUART.
E. CHECK THAT GROOVE IN AGB DRAIN PLUG IS CLEAN.
F. LUBRICATE O-RING AND OUTSIDE OF SEAL FITTING TOOL WITH ENGINE OIL. USING TOOL, INSTALL O-RING ONTO DRAIN PLUG.
G. LIGHTLY COAT AGB DRAIN PLUG THREADS WITH ENGINE OIL AND INSTALL. TIGHTEN PLUG TO 180-200 POUND-INCHES (20.5-23.0 N.M) AND LOCKWIRE.
H. CLOSE LEFT FAN COWL PANEL (71-11-02 MP).

THRUST LEVER TRAVEL CHECK
1.
OPEN LEFT FAN COWL PANEL (71-11-02 MP).
2.
REMOVE AFT COVER FROM FUEL CONTROL BOX.
3.
ADVANCE FORWARD THRUST LEVER UNTIL MAXIMUM FORWARD THRUST STOP ON MEC IS CONTACTED, THEN RELEASE LEVER. AT THIS POINT, FORWARD EDGE OF THRUST LEVER SHALL BE 0.1 INCH (2.5 MM) MINIMUM FROM END OF LEVER SLOT IN CONTROL STAND.
4.
RETARD THRUST LEVER TO IDLE STOP.

INSTALL AFT COVER ON FUEL CONTROL BOX
SEE A USING BOLTS AND WASHERS (2 PLACES).
6. CLOSE FAN COWL PANEL (71-11-02 MP).
