Tighten the nuts.

Clean the unwanted sealant from the screw head and outer surface of the door.

Apply a fillet seal to the nuts with DC 93-006 sealant.

Make sure the latch is smooth with the outer surface of the door in less than +0.015 to -0.025 inches (+0.380 to -0.635 mm).

If the latch is not in the limits, replace the latch.

Make sure the clearance between the latch and latch cutout in the door is 0.01-0.07 inches (0.25-1.8 mm).

If the clearance is not in the limits, cut the cutout to get the correct clearance.

(1) Open the CSD access door.
(a)
Push the large end of each latch into the access door.
(b)
Help the door open correctly down to the fully open position.

Lightly hit the roll pins (two at each hinge) with a drift to remove them from the door.

Remove the screws, nuts, and washers (4 locations each) that attach the door to the hinges.
