PS12 TUBE/MANIFOLD CHECK
1. EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS
A. 5-15 PSIG (35-100 KPA) DRY AIR PRESSURE SOURCE
B. LEAK-TEK OR SOAP AND WATER SOLUTION
2. CHECK PS12 TUBE/MANIFOLD
A. OPEN FAN COWL PANELS (AMM 71-11-02/201).
B. VISUALLY CHECK THE DRAIN HOLES IN THE BOTTOM OF THE TUBING FOR CLOGGING AND CLEAR WITH A WIRE AS NECESSARY.
C. VISUALLY CHECK PS12 TUBING AND CONNECTIONS FOR OBVIOUS DAMAGE.
CAUTION: PMC DAMAGE CAN OCCURED IF THE AIR PRESSURE INSIDE THE PS12 TUBE IS ABOVE 15 PSIG (100 KPA)
D DISCONNECT PS12 TUBE FROM BOTTOM OF MEC AND CONNECT AIR PRESSURE SOURCE TO TUBE.
E. APPLY 5-15 PSIG (35-100 KPA) AIR PRESSURE CONTINUOUSLY AND CHECK FOR LEAK USING LEAK-TEK OR SOAPY WATER.
F. CHECK FOR AIRFLOW OUT OF INLET PRESSURE PORTS AT 1, 4, 6, AND 9:30 O'CLOCK POSITION IN FAN CASE FORWARD ACOUSTICAL PANELS AND FOR LEAKS AT PMC/PS12 LINE CONNECTION.
G. REMOVE AIR PRESSURE SOURCE AND CONNECT PS12 TUBE TO MEC. TIGHTEN COUPLING NUT TO 65-75 POUND-INCHES (7.3-8.5 N.M).
H. CLOSE FAN COWL PANELS (AMM 71-11-02/201).

MEC POWER LEVER IDLE POSITION CHECK
1. EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS
A. RIG PIN C76001-1 OR -2, OR EQUIVALENT 0.248(+0.000/-0.003) INCH [6.30 (+0.000/-0.076) MM] DIAMETER,
2.5 INCH (64 MM) MINIMUM LONG ROD OR BOLT
B. PROTRACTOR - F52485-500
C. FORWARD THRUST LEVER PROTRACTOR ADAPTER SET - F72952-15
2. CHECK MEC POWER LEVER IDLE POSITION
A. OPEN LEFT FAN COWL PANEL (71-11-02 MP).
B. WITH APPROPRIATE FORWARD THRUST LEVER AT IDLE, INSTALL RIG PIN IN PART POWER STOP RIG PIN HOLE MARKED "P" IN FUEL CONTROL BOX.
C. ATTACH PROTRACTOR TO FORWARD THRUSTSEE A LEVER USING ADAPTER.
D. ADVANCE THRUST LEVER UNTIL PIN IS CONTACTED. LEVER SHOULD HAVE TRAVELED
30.0 |1.0` FROM IDLE STOP.
E. RETARD THRUST LEVER TO IDLE POSITION AND REMOVE PROTRACTOR AND ADAPTER.
F. REMOVE RIG PIN.
G. CLOSE FAN COWL PANEL (71-11-02 MP).
