PREREQUISITES NONE
NOTE: IT IS POSSIBLE FOR TAKEOFFS WITH PMC OFF CONDITIONS TO BE RELATED WITH HIGH EGT AND N1 BLOOM PAST TAKEOFF TARGET. IF TAKEOFF WAS WITH PMC OFF, MAKE SURE THE CORRECT COCKPIT PROCEDURES WERE FOLLOWED.
ENGINE WATER WASH IS AN EFFECTIVE MEANS TO RESTORE ENGINE PERFORMANCE AND MAY HELP TO REDUCE EGT ON TAKEOFF. THIS PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT IS EFFECTIVE BUT TEMPORARY. THIS MAINTENANCE ACTION IS NOT EXPECTED TO BE A LONG TERM FIX FOR HIGH EGT OR ENGINE DETERIORATION.

IF COMPLETE TROUBLESHOOTING HAS BEEN DONE, AND TAKEOFF - NACELLE
ENGINE DETERIORATION IS SHOWN BY CRUISE TREND,
TEMPERATURE USUAL POWER ASSURANCE, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO DO THIS PROCEDURE AGAIN (AMM 72-00-00/601).
