 1.  General_______
 A.  Trouble shooting visual checks are provided to illustrate and provide details for simple checks required during trouble shooting.
 B.  Visual Checks are defined as checks which require only visual observation to complete. Although opening of fan cowl panels or fan duct cowl and thrust reverser halves may be required, no special check/test equipment is used; no components are removed; and no engine operation is required.

OPEN FAN DUCT COWL AND THRUST REVERSER HALVES (78-31-00 MP).

CHECK FOR EVIDENCE OF FUEL LEAKAGE FROM FUEL MANIFOLD AND FUEL DRAIN MANIFOLD ON ENGINE CORE.

3.  
CHECK FOR EVIDENCE OF INTERNAL FUEL LEAKS, INDICATED AS FUEL DRIPPING FROM FUEL DRAIN LINES (REFER TO 71-71-00 I/C FOR ALLOWABLE LEAKAGE AND CORRECTIVE ACTION).

4.  
CLOSE FAN DUCT COWL AND THRUST REVERSER HALVES (78-31-00 MP).
