 1.  General_______
 A.  Oil indicating system trouble shooting should be performed prior to engine oil system trouble shooting if indicated fault is not substantiated by other engine and oil system instrumentation and trouble symptoms. If indicating system fault is not likely by virtue of supporting instrumentation, a trouble chart is provided to isolate and correct the fault.
