WITH THE MEC REMOVED, TURN THE N2 ROTOR(AMM 72-00-00/201) AND MAKE SURE THE FUEL PUMP OUTPUT SHAFT (MEC DRIVE SHAFT) TURNS NORMALLY IN BOTH DIRECTIONS.
DOES THE SHAFT TURN NORMALLY?

YES

19 REMOVE THE FUEL PUMP
(AMM 73-11-01/401) AND
MANUALLY TURN N2 ROTOR

(AMM 72-00-00/201).
 DOES GEARBOX DRIVE SHAFT TO FUEL PUMP TURN NORMALLY IN THE TWO DIRECTIONS?

(AMM 73-11-01/401).
LOOK TO SEE IF THE MEC INPUT SHAFT CAN BE TURNED BYHAND WITHOUT BINDING OR UNUSUAL NOISES. IF NOT, REPLACE THE MEC (AMM 73-21-01/ 401).
