. APPLY A SMALL FORCE TO THE THRUST LEVER TO OPEN THE TORQUE SWITCH AND HOLD IT OPEN. MAKE SURE THE METER INDICATES THERE IS NO CONTINUITY, TORQUE SWITCH IS OPEN
. RELEASE THE FORCE ON THE LEVER AND MAKE SURE THE METER SHOWS THERE IS CONTINUITY
