Make sure the latches are in the fully open position and close the door.

Install a screwdriver blade into the latch handle slots and turn the screwdriver handle 90 degrees counterclockwise to lock the latches.

Make sure the door top and bottom edge clearances are 0.03-0.09 inches (0.76-2.3 mm).

If the clearance is not in the limits, adjust the door as follows: 1) Remove the door. 2) Add or remove the spacer washers between the hinges and


 bushings to get the correct clearance.
 3) Install the door.

Measure the forward edge clearance and the aft edge clearance of the door.

 (a)  
The forward edge clearance is 0.01-0.07 inches (0.25-1.8 mm) and the aft edge clearance is 0.03-0.09 inches (0.76-2.3 mm).

If the edge clearances are not in the limits, adjust the door as follows: 1) Lightly hit the roll pins out of the hinges. 2) Open the access and pressure relief door.
