13 LOOK AT THE REVERSER 24 REPAIR OR REPLACE THE ACTUATORS FOR EVIDENCE OF ACTUATORS OR ATTACHMENT BINDING. (AMM 78-31-03/401).
MAKE SURE THAT THE
ACTUATORS ARE ATTACHED TO
THE TORQUE BOX AND SLEEVE.
ARE THE ACTUATORS OK? NO
25 LOOK FOR BROKEN FLEXSHAFTS. REPLACE FLEX SHAFT(S) (AMM 78-31-04/401).

ENG 1 SYNC LOCK ENG 1 THR REV CONT SYS ENG 1 THR REV IND SYS ENG 2 SYNC LOCK ENG 2 SYNC LOCK-ALTN ENG 2 THR REV CONT SYS ENG 2 THR REV CONT SYS-ALTN ENG 2 THR REV IND SYS
MAKE SURE THE AIRPLANE IS IN THIS CONFIGURATION:
HYDRAULIC POWER IS ON (AMM 29-15-00/201) "REVERSER UNLOCKED" ENGINE FIRE SWITCHES PUSHED IN THRUST REVERSER SLEEVES RETRACTED
LIGHT ON OR ON INTER-MITTENTLY IN FLIGHT
WARNING:
OR ON THE GROUND. "REVERSER" LIGHT DID NOT COME ON.
1 DO A CHECK OF THE SENSOR-TO-TARGET GAPS ON THE NOT
(RIGHT REVERSER HALF) (AMM 78-34-03/201). ARE THE GAPS IN THE ALLOW-ABLE LIMITS?
YES
22 REPLACE THE PROXIMITY SEN-SORS FOR THE APPLICABLE REVER-SER HALF (AMM 78-34-03/201).
DO THE SYSTEM TEST FOR THE THRUST REVERSER: NORMAL OPER-ATION TEST (AMM 78-31-00/501).
IF THE "REVERSER UNLOCKED" LIGHT DID NOT GO OFF, EXAMINETHE CIRCUIT FROM THE NOT STOWED PROXIMITY SENSORS TO THE EAU (WDM 78-31-11,-21).
REPAIR THE PROBLEMS THATYOU FIND.AIRPLANES WITH THRUST REVERSER SYNC LOCKS DO THE SYSTEM TEST FOR THE
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK NEAR THE THRUST REVERSER AND WHEN YOU OPERATE THE FLIGHT DECK CONTROLS. INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
21 ADJUST THE SENSOR-TO-TARGET GAPS ON THE APPLICABLE NOT STOWED PROXIMITY SENSOR (AMM 78-34-03/201).
DO THE SYSTEM TEST FOR THE THRUST REVERSER: NORMAL OPER-ATION TEST (AMM 78-31-00/501).
IF THE "REVERSER UNLOCKED"LIGHT DID NOT GO OFF, CONTINUE AT BLOCK 22.
THRUST REVERSER: NORMAL OPER-ATION TEST (AMM 78-31-00/501).
IF THE "REVERSER UNLOCKED"
LIGHT DID NOT GO OFF, REPLACE
THE EAU (AMM 78-34-06/401).
REVERSER UNLOCKED Light On or On Intermittently in Flight or on the Ground.
REVERSER Light Did Not Come On.
