At the overhead panel, P5, set the pilot's switch for the emergency lights to the on position. 1) Quickly make sure the NOT ARMED light on the P5 panel is
on. 2) Quickly make sure that each emergency light comes on. a) Quickly examine all of the emergency lights on each side of the airplane. b) AIRPLANES WITH FLOOR PROXIMITY LIGHTS; Quickly make sure each aisle locator light comes on.
(c)
Quickly set the pilot's switch to the armed position. 1) Make sure the NOT ARMED light goes off. 2) Make sure all the emergency lights are off.
(d)
Open each applicable circuit breaker for the emergency lights:
1) On the load control center panel, P18. a) Quickly make sure the emergency lights come on.
NOTE: In the least possible time, examine some
____ emergency lights on each side of the airplane to make sure the system operates.
(e)
Quickly close each circuit breaker that was opened. 1) Make sure all the emergency lights are off.
(f)
Set the pilot's switch to the off position.
(g)
If it is necessary, charge the batteries for the emergency lights (AMM 33-51-51/201).
(h)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Do a test of the emergency lights with the attendant's switch.
NOTE: Keep a record of the time that the emergency lights are on.

In the passenger compartment, set the attendant's switch for the emergency lights to the on position. 1) Quickly make sure all the emergency lights come on.
(b)
Quickly set the attendant's switch to the normal position. 1) Make sure all the emergency lights go off.
(c)
At the overhead panel, P5, set the pilot's switch for the emergency lights to the armed position.
(d)
Set the attendant's switch to the on position. 1) Quickly make sure the emergency lights come on.
NOTE: It is not necessary to examine all the emergency
____ lights again.
(e) Quickly set the attendant's switch to the normal position. 1) Make sure the emergency lights go off.

(3) S 715-055Do a test of the emergency lights with the pilot's switch.
NOTE:____ Keep a record of the time that the emergency lights are on.
(a) (b) If the OVERHEAD portion of the F/O annunciator is lighted, the fault indication from one or more of the systems that provide fault signals to it will have to be cleared before proceeding. 1) The systems providing fault signals to the OVERHEAD annunciator are: Equip Cooling; Flight Recorder; Pass Oxy On; Emerg Exit Lights; or on some airplanes Lav Smoke or ELT.If the MASTER CAUTION indicator is lighted, press it to reset it, and the Captains and First Officers annunciator lights.
NOTE:____ If there is any activity in other airplane systems that may provide additional fault inputs to any of the annunciators AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN RESET, this test can not be run.
