2. Logo Light Installation_______________________
A. The Logo Light consists of a sealed beam incandescent lamp installed in a housing assembly. Each housing is sealed to keep out fuel and water. Screws on the face of the housing permit vertical and horizontal adjustment of the lamp.
B. The lamp is retained with an adjustable quick-release clamp. A rubber-glass cloth cuff between the lamp and clamp cushions the lamp. An indexing tab on the clamp orients the lamp for a horizontal pattern. The lamp may be rotated to provide a vertical pattern by placing the lamp indexing lug outside the clamp indexing tabs. A louver assembly is held in position over the face of the lamp. The adjusting screws extend from a support pan through threaded ball nuts attached to the clamp assembly. Springs over the adjusting screws are held in position by teflon washers at each end and help hold the clamp assembly in position. Cotter pins inserted through the ends of each adjusting screw prevent the screws from being backed out too far. A bezel with pyrex lens attaches to the support pan with screws.

1. General_______
A. This procedure has these tasks for a logo light (referred to as a light):

B. The fairing is sealed to keep out all fuel and water. To replace the lamp, you remove the logo light. While the light is removed, you can do a visual check of the inner side of the fairing. If you see fuel stains or water stains, then seal the leak. Refer to "Seals and Sealing" (AMM 51-31-00/201).
