(5) EXIT SIGN ABOVE A PAIR OF OVERWING ESCAPE HATCHES;
Do these steps:
(a) Connect the electrical wires to each terminal block.
NOTE: Make sure you connect each wire in its initial

(b)
Push the cover against the light assembly until it latches.
(c)
Install the screws on each end of the lens opening.
(d)
Push the lens against the cover until the lens latches.
D. Exit Sign Test

(1) At the overhead panel, P5, or the attendant's panel, set the emergency lights switch to the on position.
NOTE: Keep a record of the time that the emergency lights are on.

(a) In the least possible time, make sure the exit sign comes on correctly.

(2) Quickly set the emergency lights switch to the usual position.
(a) Make sure the emergency lights go off.

(3) If it is necessary, charge the batteries for the emergency lights (AMM 33-51-51/201).
