(a) Make sure the steady position lights come on.

(3) AIRPLANES WITH AN "ON BATTERY" POSITION ON THE SWITCH; Set the switch to this position.
(a) Make sure the steady position lights come on again.

(4) AIRPLANES WITH A "STROBE AND STEADY" POSITION ON THE SWITCH; Set the switch to this position.
WARNING: DO NOT LET THE STROBE POSITION LIGHTS FLASH DIRECTLY IN
_______ YOUR EYES. THE INTENSITY OF THE LIGHT CAN CAUSE YOU NOT TO SEE TEMPORARILY.
(a) Make sure the steady position lights come on again.

STEADY POSITION (NAVIGATION) LIGHTS - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains these tasks for the steady position light:
(1)
The replacement of the lamp in a red or green steady position light (referred to as a colored light).
(2)
The replacement of the lamp in a white steady position light (referred to as a white light).
B. The colored lights are in each wingtip behind a window (Fig. 201). The wingtip is sealed to stop fuel fumes and water.
(1) To replace the lamp in a colored light, you remove the access panel below the wingtip. You do not remove the window.
