 (2)  If there are emergency lights that did not come on for 10 or more minutes, then do one more test of the emergency lights.
 (a)  Set the pilot's emergency lights switch to the on position.
 1)  Make sure each emergency light comes on for a minimum time of 10 minutes. a) Let each emergency light go off automatically.

 (b) (c)  Set the pilot's emergency lights switch to the off position.Replace the battery pack in each power supply that operated its emergency lights for less than 10 minutes (AMM 33-51-51/201).
 (d)  Supply electrical power for 16 hours to fully charge the batteries (AMM 24-22-00/201).
 NOTE:____ This will prepare the emergency lights for a flight of the airplane.

 (1)  Remove the lens.
 (a)  
For a lens with release holes, push a wire in each release hole and remove the lens.

 (b)  
For a lens with release buttons, push each release button with your fingers and remove the lens.

 (c)  
For a lens without release holes or buttons, pull off the lens.

 (2)  Carefully replace the lamp.
 D.  Lamp Test

 (1)  At the overhead panel, P5, or the attendant's panel, set the emergency lights switch to the on position.
 NOTE: Keep a record of the time that the emergency lights are on.

 (a)  In the least possible time, make sure the new lamp comes on correctly.
