 (2)  Replace The Stabilizer Trim Warning Light Lamp(s)
 (a)  Grasp the cap assembly and pull directly out to retract the cap assembly locking pins. Continue to pull the cap assembly until it is free from the base assembly.
 NOTE: The cap assembly will remain captive to the base
____
 assembly by two retaining elements.

 (b)  
Replace the faulty lamp(s).

 (c)  
Check that the cap assembly is in the extended position (Fig. 201). If in a collapsed position, do these two steps: 1) Grasp the cap shell and the lamp holder. 2) Draw apart the cap shell from the lamp holder until the


 locking pins are retracted.
 NOTE: In the collapsed position, locking pins are
____ extended and cannot lock the cap assembly into the base assembly. Therefore, the shaft will not actuate the switches and the lamps will fail to contact the energized pins in the mounting base.
 (d)  Insert the cap assembly into the mounting base. Push with a firm continuous action until the cap assembly bottoms out in the base assembly. The cap assembly should collapse and the locking pins should engage the base assembly.
 NOTE: Hesitation to insert the cap assembly into the base
____ assembly may cause the cap to prematurely release and cause the unit to jam.

 (3)  Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
 (a)  
Load Control Center, P6-3
 1) MASTER DIM SECT 2


 (b)  
Load Control Center - Left, P18-0
 1) STABILIZER TRIM

Momentarily press and hold the master dim and test LIGHTS switch (P1-3) to the TEST position and make sure the lamps come on.

 (5)  
Remove electrical power if no longer necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
