LIGHT CONNECTED TO A TERMINAL BLOCK; Disconnect the electrical wires from the terminal block.
(c)
Loosen the retaining nuts.
(d)
Turn the light counterclockwise.
(e)
Carefully pull up the light to remove it.

(1) Location Zone

C. Light Installation

(1)
Clean the inner side of the lens with a clean, soft, dry cloth.

(2)
Install the light.
(a)
Carefully put the light back in its position.
(b)
Turn the light assembly clockwise until it engages the studs.
(c)
Tighten the retaining nuts.

LIGHT CONNECTED WITH AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR;
Connect the electrical connector.

LIGHT CONNECTED TO A TERMINAL BLOCK;
Connect the electrical wires to the terminal block.
WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU SEAL EACH BARE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION NEAR
_______ THE LIGHT TO PREVENT AN EXPLOSION OF FUEL FUMES. AN EXPLOSION CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Seal the electrical terminals (AMM 20-10-47/201).

(5) Close the right and left air-conditioning access panels.
D. Light Test

(1) Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

(2) Remove each DO-NOT-OPERATE or DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.
(a) Close each circuit breaker that was opened.

(3) At the overhead panel, P5, set the switch for the lower anticollision light to the on position.
WARNING: DO NOT LET THE STROBE LIGHT FLASH DIRECTLY IN YOUR EYES.
_______ THE INTENSITY OF THE LIGHT CAN CAUSE YOU TO NOT SEE TEMPORARILY.
(a) Make sure the new light comes on and flashes correctly.

(4) Set the switch to the off position.
