Install the replacement lamp.

Put the retainer on the lamp and install the retainer screws.
(k)
Install the lens assembly and tighten the screws.

(2) Do a test of the wing scanning lights:
(a)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(b)
Close this circuit breaker and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
1) P18 Load Control Center - Left a) WING SCAN
(c)
Put the WING switch on the P5 panel in the ON position.
(d)
Make sure the wing scanning lights are on.
(e)
Put the WING switch on the P5 panel in the OFF position.

(3) Remove electrical power if it is not necessary

(1) Prepare to do the adjustment of the wing scanning lights:
(a)
Loosen the fasteners on the lens assembly and let it hang from its lanyard.
(b)
Loosen the adjustment screws.
(c)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(d)
Make sure this circuit breaker is closed:
1) P18 Load Control Center - Left a) WING SCAN

Put the WING switch on the P5 panel in the ON position.
(f)
Make sure the wing scanning light comes on.

(2) Adjust the wing scanning light lamp:
WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU ARE CAREFUL WHEN YOU ADJUST THE LAMP.
_______ THE LAMP IS HOT AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
(a)
Adjust the lamp to point the center of the beam as shown on Figure 201.
(b)
Tighten the adjustment screws.
NOTE: Make sure the lamps position does not change while you

tighten the adjustment screws.
(c)
Put the WING switch on the P5 panel in the OFF position.
(d)
Make sure the wing scanning lights go off.
(e)
Install the lens assembly and tighten the fasteners.
