(1) Install the transformer.
(a)
Hold the transformer in its position and install the mounting nuts.
(b)
Connect the electrical wires to the terminals.
WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU USE THE COMPOUND TO SEAL EACH BARE
_______ ELECTRICAL CONNECTION NEAR THE LIGHT. THIS WILL PREVENT AN EXPLOSION OF FUEL FUMES. AN EXPLOSION CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(c) Use the spatula to apply a layer of the compound on the electrical terminals.

(2) Do a test of the transformer.

Remove each DO-NOT-CLOSE or DO-NOT-OPERATE tag. 1) Close each circuit breaker that was opened.
(c)
Set the switch to the on position. 1) Make sure the logo lights come on correctly.
(d)
Set the switch to the off position.
1) Make sure the logo lights go off.
(e)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201)

EMERGENCY LIGHTS - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General_______
A. The emergency lights automatically supply lighting and identify the exits, if the airplane has an electrical power failure. In this condition, the emergency lighting replaces the usual lighting. The flight crew and passenger compartment attendants can also operate the emergency lights and signs manually with switches. Electrical power is supplied to the emergency lighting system by 6 volt battery operated power supplies, independently from airplane generator and battery busses.
