C. Lamp Replacement

(1) Remove the lens.
(a)
To release the lens, turn the screw in the bottom edge.
(b)
Pull out and then lift up the bottom of the lens to remove it.

(2) Carefully replace the lamp.
D. Lamp Test

(1) At the overhead panel, P5, or the attendant's panel, set the emergency lights switch to the on position.
(a) In the least possible time, make sure the new lamp in the exit indicator sign comes on correctly.

Quickly set the switch to the usual position.
(3)
Install the lens with the screw.

If it is necessary, charge the batteries for the emergency lights (AMM 33-51-51/201).
