Release the latches behind the sign assembly.
(c)
Remove the rear housing.
(d)
Carefully replace the lamp through the rear of the sign assembly.
(e)
Install the rear housing and close the latches.
(f)
Close the PSU (AMM 25-23-61/201).

(4) Do a test of the sign.
(a)
Remove each DO-NOT-OPERATE or DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.
1) Close each circuit breaker that was opened.
(b)
Set the NO SMOKING switch to the on position.
(c)
Set the FASTEN BELTS switch to the on position.
1) Make sure the new lamp comes on correctly.
(d)
Set the NO SMOKING switch to the usual position.
(e)
Set the FASTEN BELTS switch to the usual position.
(f)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary
(AMM 24-22-00/201).

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Do a test of the Passenger Signs:
(a)
Set the NO SMOKING and the FASTEN BELT switches on the overhead panel, P5, to ON. 1) Make sure that these passenger signs are on:
a) NO SMOKING b) FASTEN SEAT BELT c) RETURN TO SEAT
(b)
Set the NO SMOKING and the FASTEN BELT switches to OFF.
1) Make sure the passenger signs are off.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THE GROUND LOCKS ARE INSTALLED ON ALL THE
_______ LANDING GEAR BEFORE YOU MOVE THE CONTROL LEVER. WITHOUT THE GROUND LOCKS, THE LANDING GEAR CAN RETRACT AND CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(c) Make sure the ground locks are installed on the nose and main landing gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).
WARNING: KEEP PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT CLEAR OF THE FLIGHT CONTROL
_______ SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSERS, AND THE LANDING GEAR. THESE COMPONENTS CAN MOVE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(d)
Supply hydraulic power (AMM 29-15-00/201).
(e)
Move the flap control lever to the UP position.
(f)
Move the landing gear lever to the off position.
(g)
Set the NO SMOKING and the FASTEN BELT switches to AUTO. 1) Make sure that all the passenger signs are off.
(h)
Move the flap control lever to POSITION 2.
1) Make sure that all the FASTEN SEAT BELT and the RETURN TO SEAT signs are on.
