Push the rod into the hole at the bottom of the lens and remove the lens.

(2)
Get access to the aisle light.
(a)
Lower the passenger service unit (PSU) adjacent to the aisle light (AMM 25-23-61/201).
(b)
Remove the mounting fasteners from the bullnose ceiling panel.
(c)
Lower the bullnose ceiling panel.

(3)
Move the cable nipple away from the light assembly and disconnect the electrical wires.
S 022-030
(4)
Remove the light assembly mounting screws and washers and remove the light assembly.

Connect the electrical wires and install the cable nipple.

Install light assembly with the mounting screws and washers.

Close the bullnose ceiling panel.

Close the PSU (AMM 25-23-61/201).

Push the lens into its position until it is fully engaged.
D. Light Test
S 862-009
(1) At the overhead panel, P5, or the attendant's panel, set the emergency lights switch to the on position.
NOTE: Keep a record of the time that the emergency lights are on.

(a) In the least possible time, make sure the light comes on correctly.

(2) S 862-017Quickly set the emergency lights sitch to the usual position. (a) Make sure the emergency lights go off.
(3) S 862-018If it is necessary, charge the batteries for the emergency lights (AMM 33-51-51/201).

A. This procedure contains a task for the replacement of the lamp in the overwing light at the emergency exit.
B. There is a forward light and an aft light above each wing.
C. You replace the lamp from the outer side of the airplane.
