(b) At the overhead panel, P5, set the switch to the off position
and attach the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.

(2) Loosen the captive mounting screws and pull out the light.
NOTE: If it is necessary, use a screwdriver or an equivalent tool____
to loosen the light from the fairing.

(3) Pull on the bail to release the clamp.

(4) Move the lamp away from the light and disconnect the electrical
wires.

(5) Align the index lug on the lamp with the index tabs on the cuff.

(6) Remove the lamp from the cuff.

(7) Put a thin layer of the antiseize compound around the inner side of
the lamp cuff.

(8) If the cuff was removed, install it in the clamp.
NOTE: Make sure the cuff is in its correct position in the clamp.____

Connect the electrical wires to the lamp. S 392-037 WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU USE THE SEALANT TO SEAL EACH BARE ELECTRICAL
_______ CONNECTION NEAR THE LIGHT. THIS WILL PREVENT AN EXPLOSION OF THE FUEL FUMES. AN EXPLOSION CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Apply a layer of the sealant on the electrical connections. NOTE: You can use the compound as an alternative to the sealant.

(11) Set the new lamp in the cuff in the correct position.
NOTE: For the best lighting of the logo, the lamp must be in the
____ correct position. Make sure the index lug of the lamp is between the index tabs of the clamp.

(12) Close the clamp on the lamp.
NOTE: If the lamp is loose in the clamp, use the adjustment screw

to tighten the clamp.

If it was removed, install the sponge rubber gasket which seals the light to the fairing.

Clean the lens with a clean, soft, dry cloth.

Put the light in its position on the fairing.

Tighten the mounting screws.
