B. This floodlight is a strip of 12 incandescent lamps.
C. You change the intensity of the AFDS floodlight with a lighting control knob on the captain's instrument panel, P1.
D. Electrical power for this floodlight comes from the 28 volts ac transfer
bus No. 1.Lightshield Light

A. The background lighting for the pilots' main instrument panel is supplied with three fluorescent light assemblies on the bottom side of the lightshield.
B. There is a dimable ballast and switching module for the fluorescent lights on the lower nose compartment ceiling below the instrument panels.
C. The 115 volts ac transfer bus No. 1 usually supplies electrical power to operate the fluorescent lamps. With a electrical power failure of the transfer bus, the electrical power automatically comes from the 115 volts ac standby bus.
D. You control the intensity of the lighting from off to bright with a
lighting control knob on the captain's instrument panel, P1.Dome Light

A. The dome lights in aft part of the flight compartment supply general area lighting.
B. The 28 volts dc battery bus supplies the electrical power for the operation of the dome lights.
C. You control the operation of the dome lights with a three position (DIM-OFF-ON) toggle switch on the aft overhead panel, P5. A resistor supplies the voltage drop to make the lamp go dim.
D. The left dome light supplies general emergency lighting, if there is a electrical power failure.

When the left dome light has the function of an emergency light, it is operated with the other emergency lights.

You make the emergency lights come on with a switch on the forward overhead panel, P5.
(3)
The switch is usually set to the ARMED position. In this position, the emergency lights will come on in a electrical power failure (Ref 33-51-02).
Control Stand Floodlight

A. An incandescent light above a cutout in the forward overhead panel, P5, supplies general lighting for the control stand area.

A. Floodlights supply lighting to the circuit breakers in the load control center.

Two floodlights supply lighting to the left panel, P18.
B. You change the intensity of these floodlights with a lighting control knob on the forward overhead panel, P5.
