 NOTE:____If there is sealant, remove it. Do not apply sealant again when you install the housing.
 3) Move the assembly to the mirror approximately 1/4 inch to release the keyways behind the assembly from their screws. 4) Left the towel cover and carefully pull out the sign assembly. 5) Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the rear panel from the sign assembly.

 (d)  
Carefully replace the lamp.

 (e)  
Install the rear panel of the sign assembly.

 (f)  
Install the sign assembly. 1) Connect the electrical connector. 2) Lift the towel cover and put the sign assembly in its

 position. 3) Move the sign assembly away from the mirror approximately 1/4 inch to lock the screws in the keyways. 4) Install the screw in the lower left corner of the sign.

 (g)  
Latch the towel cover in its position.

 (3)  ALL OTHER LAVATORIES; Replace the lamp.
 (a)  
Open the lavatory cabinet door above the sign.

 (b)  
Remove the sign assembly. 1) Get access to the rear of the sign assembly. 2) Remove the screws on the sign bracket and remove the sign

 assembly.

 (c)  
Remove the screws and remove the rear panel of the sign assembly.

 (d)  
Carefully replace the lamp.

 (e)  
Put the screws in position and install the rear panel of the sign assembly.

 (f)  
Install the sign assembly with its screws.

 (g)  
Close the lavatory cabinet door.

 (4)  Do a test of the sign.
 (a)  
Remove each DO-NOT-OPERATE or DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.
 1) Close each circuit breaker that was opened.

 (b)  
Set the FASTEN BELTS switch to the on position.
 1) Make sure the new lamp comes on.

 (c)  
Set the switch to the off position.

 (d)  
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary
 (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (1)  Identify the lamp to be replaced.
 (a)  
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (b)  
At the overhead panel, P5, set the NO SMOKING switch to the on position.

 (c)  
At the overhead panel, P5, set the FASTEN BELTS switch to the on position.

 (d)  
Examine the sign and identify each lamp that does not come on correctly.

 (e)  
Do one of these steps to remove electrical power from the sign: 1) Set each switch for the sign to the off position and attach the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.

 2)  Open each applicable circuit breaker for the sign and attach the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag: a) On the load control center panel, P18.

 (2)  SIGN WITH A SLOT AT THE EDGE OF THE LENS (FIG. 201); Replace the lamp in a sign installed in a passenger service unit (PSU).
 (a)
Carefully replace the lens with a screwdriver.

 NOTE:____Use a screwdriver with a flat end. Put the screwdriver in the slot at the edge of the lens.

 (b)  
Carefully replace the lamp.

 (c)  
Carefully push the lens into its position.
