Push and release the pilot's MASTER CAUTION light.
(l)
Make sure that the master caution lights and the annunciator lights are off.
(m)
Push and release the first officer's annunciator.
(n)
Make sure the annunciator and the P5 overhead panel show the same defect or airplane condition lights.
NOTE: All the annunciator lights will be on while you have the

annunciator pushed.
(o)
Push and release the first officer's MASTER CAUTION light.
(p)
Make sure that the master caution lights and the annunciator lights are off.
D. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition.

PASSENGER COMPARTMENT LIGHTING - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General_______
A. Passenger compartments lighting provides illumination of the entire passenger cabin . It also provides area lighting for entryways, attendants work areas, lavatories, and galleys. Passenger information signs, reading, and attendant call lights are also installed.
B. The passenger compartment lighting is divided into seven sections.
(1)
Passenger Cabin Illumination (Ref 33-21-03)
(a) Passenger cabin illumination is provided by fluorescent lights installed in the ceiling and sidewall panels throughout the passenger cabin. Incandescent lights installed in the ceiling panels provide subdued lighting.
(2)
Reading Lights (Ref 33-23-00)
(a) Reading lights are in groups of two or three. They are installed in the passenger service units (PSUs) and attendant service units (ASUs). Switches are located adjacent to the respective reading light on PSUs and ASUs.
(3)
Passenger Signs (Ref 33-24-00)
(a) Passenger information signs are installed throughout the passenger cabin in the passenger service units (PSU), lavatories, and attendants' stations. Switches on overhead panel P5 in the flight compartment control the signs.
(4)
Passenger Call Lights (Ref 33-25-03)
(a) The passenger call system consists of lavatory call lights and passenger call lights installed near each attendants' station. They are activated by the call switch on each PSU and in each lavatory.
(5)
Lavatory Lights (Ref 33-26-00)
(a) Lavatories are illuminated with dome lights in the ceiling, and fluorescent lights adjacent to the mirrors.
(6)
Galley Lights (Ref 33-27-00)
(a) Each galley area is illuminated with fluorescent lights in the ceiling panels.
(7)
Passenger Loading Lights (Ref 33-28-00)
(a) Door threshold and entry areas, attendants work areas, and airstair (if installed) are brightly illuminated with incandescent and fluorescent lights. The lights are installed in ceiling panels and in adjacent partitions. Two lights are installed on each step of the airstair.
C. Controls for the lighting are on panels in the passenger compartment. Lavatory lighting controls are within each unit.
