AC GENERATION - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General_______
A. This procedure identifies the task for the operational test of the ac generation system. The operational test includes tests for the three ac generation systems:

External Power
(2)
APU Power
(3)
Engine Power
B.
The operational test of the three ac generation systems will examine these components:
(1)
Bus control units (BCU)
(2)
Generator control units (GCU)
(3)
Auxiliary generator control unit (AGCU)
(4)
Generator circuit breaker (GCB)
(5)
Bus tie breaker (BTB)
(6)
Auxiliary power breaker (APB)
(7)
Split system Breaker (SSB)
C.
You must operate the engines and the APU to do the operational test.
D.
To do the operational test of the 115-volt ac standby power generation system, refer to 24-29-00/501.
