Make sure the ON lights on the APU GEN 1 and 2 switches are on.
(f)
Make sure the AVAIL lights on the EXT PWR 1 and 2 switches, on the P5 panel, are on.
(g)
Push the ELEC switch on the EICAS display panel to get the synoptic page for the electrical system.
(h)
Look for these indications:
1) The auxiliary power breakers 1 and 2 are closed.
2) The external power contactors 1 and 2 are open.
3) The bus tie breakers 1, 2, 3, and 4 are closed.
4) The split system breaker is open.
(i)
Push the EXT PWR 1 and 2 switches to on.
(j)
Make sure the ON lights on the EXT PWR 1 and 2 switches, on the P5 panel, are on.
(k)
Make sure the AVAIL lights on the APU GEN 1 and 2 switches, on the P5 panel, are on.
(l)
Look for these indications:
1) The auxiliary power breakers 1 and 2 are open.
2) The external power contactors 1 and 2 are closed.
3) The bus tie breakers 1, 2, 3, and 4 are closed.
4) The split system breaker is open.
(m)
Stop the APU (49-11-00/201).

If you replaced the generator control breaker (GCB), do a test of the GCB.
(a)
Start the applicable engine (Ref 71-00-00/201).
(b)
Make sure the OFF light on the applicable GEN CONT switch is off.
(c)
Make sure the applicable AVAIL light on the EXT PWR 1 or 2 switch, on the P5 panel, is on.
