Apply twenty (20) psig to the IDG oil IN line. Allow the IDG oil to flow into the container. 1) When the IDG oil flow decreases, remove the container from

 the gas and remove the IDG oil OUT line from the container.

 (e)  
Apply 250 psig to the IDG oil IN line until the nitrogen gas bottle is empty.

 (f)  
Remove the IDG oil IN line from the nitrogen gas bottle.

Attach both IDG oil lines to the IDG.

 (h)  
Service the IDG with oil (AMM 12-22-07/301).

 (i)  
Do the engine ground test - idle power procedure to do a check for leaks (AMM 71-00-00/501).

 (j)  
Examine the IDG oil level (AMM 12-13-07/301).

 (k)  
Service the IDG (AMM 12-13-07/301).

Close the left thrust reverser half (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Attach both IDG oil lines to the IDG.

 (b)  
Service the IDG with oil (AMM 12-22-07/301).

 (c)

 5.  Intergrated Drive Generator oil cooling system flushing (Scavenge filter is___________________________________________________________________________ Damaged)_________
 A.  General
 (1)  
The flushing procedure is used when spare IDG external oil cooling lines are not available for installation.

 (2)  
The flushing procedure is not a replacement for the external oil line maintenance program.

 (a)  
The oil lines are cleaned in an overhaul facility when the engine is removed for overhaul.

 B.  
Equipment

 (1)  
IDG oil overflow drain hose with outlet adapter,
 Ozone OMP2505-3 or Risbridger tool DRG 1827.


 (2)  
Container - 2 gallon capacity

 (3)  
Nitrogen - gas (minimum of 239 cubic feet bottle) and regulator from 20 - 250 psig.
