Make sure that the electrical power is off (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Make sure the BATTERY switch, on panel P5, is OFF.
(a)
Make sure you attach a DO NOT OPERATE placard.

(3) Open the applicable panel, in the table below, to get access to the breaker that you will remove.

Disconnect the control cable connector from the breaker.

Disconnect the terminal leads from the breaker:
(a)
Remove the screws that attach the terminal covers to the breaker.

(b)
Remove the six nuts and washers that attach the six terminal leads to the breaker.
(c)
Attach a label to identify each terminal lead.
(d)
Disconnect the leads from the terminal block.
(e)
Install the nuts and washers on the terminal block.
(f)
Tighten the nuts with your hand.
(g)
Install the terminal covers on the breaker.

Remove the breaker:
(a)
Remove the four screws that attach the breaker to the panel.
(b)
Remove the breaker.

A. General
(1)
The installation task is almost the same for all breakers. The operational tests are different and the breakers are found in different panels.
