Make sure that the EICAS screen for the IDGs 1, 2, 3, and 4 shows: 1) zero AC-V 2) FREQ of zero Hz 3) LOAD of 0.00

CAUTION: THE DRIVE LIGHT IN THE DRIVE DISC SWITCH MUST GO OFF AFTER THE
_______ ENGINE STARTS. IF DRIVE LIGHT STAYS ON, OR GOES ON WHILE THE ENGINE OPERATES, PUSH THE DRIVE DISC SWITCH. THIS REMOVES THE INPUT POWER TO THE IDG. HIGH OIL TEMPERATURE OR LOW OIL PRESSURE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE THE IDG.

Start the applicable engine (AMM 71-00-00/201).

Make sure that the OFF light on the GEN CONT 1, 2, 3, or 4 switch goes off when the engine gets to idle speed.

(5) Make sure that the AVAIL light on EXT PWR 1 and EXT PWR 2 switches are on.
(a) Make sure that the ON lights are off.

(9) Set the applicable GEN FIELD MAN RESET switch to RESET, then release it.
NOTE: The GEN FIELD MAN RESET switch is found on the P461
____ overhead maintenance panel.
(a) Make sure that the applicable FIELD OFF light is off.

NOTE: The normal range for IDG oil out temperature at idle is
____ 80-115 degrees C. The normal rise temperature is 3 to 14 degree C.
