 A.  The electrical power generating system (EPGS) consists of system components which generate, control, protect and distribute both ac and dc electrical power to the airplane.
 B.  Electrical power supplied by the engines is used for all normal flight operations. Engine power consists of four integrated drive generators (IDGs).
