(1) Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE identifier:
(a) D.C. Power Distribution Panel, P180
1) 180G25, UPR DK CREW REST SMK EVAC VLV

(2) Get access to the shutoff valve through the access door on the aft end of the crew rest area.
D. Remove the Shutoff Valve
S 034-004
(1)
Remove the electrical connector, DV553, from the shutoff valve.
S 034-005
(2)
Remove the two clamps that attach the shutoff valve to the ducts.
S 034-006
(3)
Remove the two plastic straps that attach the shutoff valve to the support bracket.
S 024-007
(4)
Remove the shutoff valve.

C. Install the Valve
S 984-009
(1) Put the shutoff valve in its position between the ducts.
(a) Install the valve with the flow arrow pointing forward and the valve actuator oriented outboard.

Install the two plastic straps that attach the shutoff valve to the support bracket.

Install the two clamps that attach the shutoff valve to the ducts.

(4)
Install the electrical connector, DV553, on the valve.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE identifier and close this circuit breaker:
(a) D.C. Power Distribution Panel, P180
1) 180G25, UPR DK CREW REST SMK EVAC VLV
D. Do an Installation Test of the Shutoff Valve

(1)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

(2)
Make sure that the shutoff valve is open.
NOTE: There is a position indicator on the valve.

Make sure that the CREW REST RESET switch-light on the crew rest area attendant's panel is not on.

(4)
Push the the Self Test button on one of the smoke detectors in the crew rest area.
NOTE: The Self Test button is the second button from the green

power lamp.
