Pull the clamps and rubber sleeves along the duct away from the heater and remove the heater.

Remove the covers from the duct openings.

Install the heater in the duct with the flow arrow pointed aft and pull the rubber sleeves on each end of the heater.
(3)
Install and tighten the clamps (4 locations).

FORWARD CARGO COMPARTMENT TEMPERATURE SWITCH - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of the forward cargo compartment temperature switch.
B. The temperature switch is installed adjacent to the forward cargo compartment temperature sensor, in the sensor assembly box. The sensor assembly box is on the left sidewall of the forward cargo compartment at station 650.
